Comments
Comments: It was a perfect day to do the Bemis Loop with good temperatures, almost no bugs, and unrestricted views! The Bemis Stream Trail is in pretty good condition with some recent blazing and blowdown clearing done. There are a few areas where logging has taken place which aren't well marked, but it's generally obvious which way the trail goes, and experienced hikers shouldn't have any issues.

I love this 12.5 mile loop as it feels very remote, especially sections along the Bemis Stream Trail. I didn't see anyone else until the last two miles when I passed three Sobos. Upon my return to the trailhead, there was a "trail magic" cookout taking place with a good group of people enjoying burgers, hot dogs, and other various foods. It was great to talk to all of the thru-hikers, and the great people who brought the food.
