Comments
Comments: I hiked Spaulding today using a route up from the south. The route leaves the Barnjam Road and follows old logging roads and a maintainer's path before an easy 0.2 mile bushwhack to the AT. From that point, I followed the AT north past the Abraham Trail and Spaulding Lean-To to the summit. It was about 9 miles round-trip and 2,250 of elevation gain. It was nice to do the hike a different way, and knowing this route also opens up loop options over Abraham.
