Comments
Comments: It was a challenge just to get to the trailhead as our original route suggested by google maps was blocked off by a gate and we were told it was private property. We ended up going down Morton Cutoff instead from route 16 and bypassing the gated area. Detailed instructions on our route in the attached link. The herd path itself was relatively easy to follow, especially with the help of the all trails route, but it was not at all pleasant, completely overgrown by tall wet grass and shrubbery for most of the way. This is one that we'll check off the list and never return to again.
