| Comments: |
We had originally planned the full loop of Coe, The Brothers and Fort but the group decided to just go for North Brother instead. The trails was dry to start down low but became very wet, muddy and had lots of running water up high. We enjoyed the moderate grade up to the small pond and then the steeper push to gain the ridge. Once at the upper junction with the Mt Coe Trail, the trail became very wet and eroded. We made our way up the wet, gully of a trail to the top. Great views of all the surrounding peaks. Quiet day on the trails only seeing a few other hikers. |
