| Comments: |
Trails were fairly dry this morning with a few wet, mossy ledges and a few minor mud patches in areas of erosion. A few of the erosion areas are pretty gnarly. Ledges on the East Royce Trail were dry, but could be dangerous when went. Herd path to the western view/communications tower can be followed with care (a little vague on some of the ledges, but pretty obvious when keeping one's eyes on the footbed).
Mostly cloudy morning with some summits going in and out of the clouds. Some yellow leaves visible on the slopes. Rain started around noontime. |
