Comments
Comments: I have been wanting to start making miles in Maine while Isis and I are still young. She’s 10 now but still hiking. It rained as we arrived to hike and this made all granite very slick. There’s plenty of water on the trail with many of the upper slabs having water running on them. Slow and steady as Southern Maine goes. We made it to West Baldpate with a 1mph pace. Isis was not having it at the first ladder so, we turned back. Extremely satisfied with this hike. Baldpate’s are underrated. Beautiful views!
