Medium-large sized lot with room for probably a little more than a dozen cars or so. Dirt but easily accessible. One other car there when I arrived at 3:30pm. |

I don’t recall the blazing situation…blue maybe? In any case, it wasn’t hard to follow and signs at the top pointed you in the direction of the loop jct. I don’t recall any blowdowns. |

3rd and final MMG redline of the day after the trails SW of Rumford Whitecap and Mt Will nest Grafton Notch. This is a nice little loop like, much like the other two I did earlier but this one’s the shortest and easiest. Nice views to toward the White Mtns from the summit and I enjoyed the bit of history regarding the fire tower and the dedication to a man who died young in the area. The trail was mostly dry with a bit of black ice. Not enough to warrant putting on spikes by any means. |
