After a failed attempt of Old Speck due to parking lot not being plowed this local gem tuened out to be an awesome hike! A nice snowshoe track has been established with approximately 18" of snow down low and 24" at upper elevations. It was nice briefly chatting with the group of three and the couple i met on the trail as well as the skier i met on the ascent. lots of loose powder. highly recommend snowshoes only at this time. Huge thanks to the sunday hikers that broke this one out!! |
