I broke trail up Bald Mountain in Washington Township this morning. With 2+ feet of snow, it was slow going, but it was perfect weather to be out! The parking pull-off is plowed enough for 3-4 cars. The stream crossing requires extreme caution to cross, as it is only partially frozen. Another hiker came up after me, and helped pack down the trail. It now has quite a nice surface for snowshoeing, so get out and enjoy it tomorrow, before Friday's rain, if you can! |
