 | Parking/Access Road Notes: |
The short distance of Ice House Rd between Ice House Rd and Rt 1 was not plowed. Rather than worry about whether or not I’d be able to back out, I just parked off of Rt 1 instead where I felt there was plenty of room. AWD or 4WD could probably just pull in though. |

 | Trail Maintenance Notes: |
There’s now a trail sign for “Mag Mtn Trail” where it leaves Ice House Rd. I don’t recall if the trail was blazed but it’s easy to follow. I don’t recall any blowdowns. |

 | Comments: |
2nd full day of my mini redline vacation in Ellsworth brought me (and a new friend!) to Magurrewock Mtn. No need for snowshoes or any traction. Minimal snow depth. Some open muddy stuff too. The 50ft spur at the top is very obvious. Just go look at the view, lol. Easy grades and a short hike for a decent view. 2mi, 300ft of gain, just under 1hr. |
