A Bluebird day for these two peaks with nearly zero wind. Purchased an uphill pass and signed a waiver electronically on phone 15.00. With the exception of the beginning- trail is well signed and sectioned if one should have issues. With back to lodge keep chairlift to your left and condos to your right on ski trail. Eventually you will see a fine wooded trail with signage in approx 1000 feet or less. I opted for the "advanced" uphill route which was a nice trek indeed. From the Lodge to the last antenna just before popping out of the trees was recorded on my gaia at 2 miles. AT has a nice crust for the most part with shallow drifts. Cairns even on this day were a little tough to follow but between my eyes, memory and gaia I stayed on trail 95 percent of the way. I opted to go right rather than cross the rogue rungs of that ice covered ladder. Ski patrol was friendly as well as ladies in lodge directing me to the uphill route. Ski area is looking great. Nice to see it thriving |
