Great hike of Sugarloaf. Purchased uphill ticket (25.00) online. Best to check trails online and on whiteboard at the super quad before hiking as to the uphill route as they can change daily. Uphill access begins at 7 a.m. Today's hike was a bit confusing as a couple of sections of trail listed were roped off. 2 of the 3 trails that went to summit were signed as no hiking and the 3rd was signed on my return. After summiting took a short hike on the Appalachian Side Trail which had a couple inches of crusty snow over a solid base |
