We parked outside the gate at the bottom of the auto road. A huge new parking area is currently under construction at the start of the road. There is also parking construction happening on the summit of Big A. |

Just some wandering around in the woods here, going out to Second Hill and back using various trails. Snowpack was minimal at 2-3 inches, but mostly consistent. Snowshoes/spikes not needed at the moment. There were also a few areas of bare ground and wet/muddy spots. A warm day overall but a little chilly on top of Big A due to a breeze. |
