Comments
Comments: A beautiful day for these two peaks. Low wind Bluebird skies and plenty of sunshine. Purchased uphill access pass online for 15.00. Had a brief but nice conversation with ski patrol. At the border of ski area there is a decision point sign. Summit access was no issue. The AT trail was crusted and heavily drifted in many spots which made trail a bit tough to follow at times despite the clear skies and super visibility. I encountered several spruce traps as well.Tracks were partially covered in spots on return. Highly recommended snowshoes for this hike as well as GPS guidance if not familiar. Berry Pickers Trail was not broken out. It was nice chatting with the uphill skier at the Lodge as well as another uphill skier earning their turns. Quiet day and met no one between Saddleback and The Horn
