 | Comments: |
We did a long clockwise lollipop loop. All the trails were dry. Nice views of the snow on Mt Washington. The loop was quite a bit more rugged than the rest of the hike. North Ridge Trail climbs up to the viewpoint then drops down through a small dike. Sue's Way continues to drop sharply followed by a steep climb up Bald Peek Trail. We saw a Nashville and a Black and White warbler. There were columbines near the first view points on the Southwest Ridge Trail. We did not see anyone all day until we returned to the parking lot. |
