 | Water Crossing Notes: |
The Royce Trail starting from Brickett Place has several stream crossings. We (both approx 5.5 ft tall) found 5-6 to require wading. They could probably be rock-hopped by taller, longer-legged folks but we had to wade up to mid-calf. Nothing dangerous. |
|
 | Trail Maintenance Notes: |
A few blowdowns on the East Royce Trail. All easily negotiated or had herd paths. |

 | Comments: |
Royce Trail, though rough and slow going, rewarded us with many lovely cascades and stream views. East Royce is always a gem but slow going over steep, wet ledges and roots. The East Royce down to the parking at the top of the Notch was in pretty good shape, save for a couple blowdowns. |
