Comments
Comments: Fair amount of mud but it was cool enough that it was somewhat solidified so if you had to walk through it, absent rocks, you didn't sink much.
Tower was great, very solid, steep, metal rung ladder with latching half door to the open wooden observation platform.
Mets lots of AT through and section hikers and a few day hikers
Day use fee ($4 non resident; $3 resident)
Privy (there were 2 but just visited one) was fully stocked with paper and not objectionable.
