Comments
Comments: Trails well blazed and good signs everywhere. Professional trail crew working on Ledges Trail.

In the area so I went for a hike. Hot humid and very hazy day. I passed a lot of people going up. Took path to the Needle's Eye, cool little flume. I looped the trails over to Shawnee Peak/Mt. Pleasant, I did check out the ski lifts, good fast walk and down Sue's Way, neat narrow clef in ledge the trail passes through. Back up the steep Bald Peak Trail. Too hazy for any views and went on my way to over Big Bald Peak and then to Pleasant Mountain. A handful of people on the summit. I climbed up the ladder on the fire tower but it didn't help the hazy view. Ledges Trail was fun and I was glad it was very dry. Trail crew working on rocks on the switchbacks. I had a fun hike. Just wish it was a clear day, I'll be back.
