This was a delightful 12 mile loop hike starting at Third Mountain Trailhead. Hiked up to AT, took a left and went northbound over these 3 peaks. Did bushwhack true summit on Columbus mountain. There is a marker…. Visited both remote ponds. Views were great at Third mountain & Chairback…. Still dealing with Canadian Wildfire smoke in September ugh….. took Henderson brook trail to Chairback mtn rd for an easy walk back to my vehicle. Highly recommend this gem of a hike |
