Comments
Comments: This was a straightforward and easy way to end the day. The old road that the trail follows near the beginning is apparently accessible to vehicles - I saw a vehicle drive it while I was hiking the trail. The trail is well-blazed in yellow and has mostly good footing, with several stretches nicely covered in pine needles, and there are only a couple rockier areas. No views, and the trail was brushy when heading through the clearing just after turning off the road, but overall it was a nice little trail. The out-and-back took about an hour, and I didn't see anyone else except for the driver of the aforementioned vehicle on the old road.

This hike completed the Speckled Mountain Region on my redlining spreadsheet. This is the 4th region that I've completed!
