TRAIL HAD ~1" OF POWDER OVER ICE DOWN LOW, 6" OF POWDER ABOVE 3500'. TRAILS PACKED OUT BY BAREBOOTERS AND IN DECENT SHAPE. NOT QUITE ENOUGH SNOW FOR SNOWSHOES. LOTS OF ICE UNDER SNOW WITH ROCKS & ROOTS POKING THROUGH UNTIL SUMMIT APPROACH, THEN MOSTLY SNOW. WORE SPIKES ALL DAY BUT COULD BAREBOOT MOST OF TRAIL. |
