Climbed up the black diamond ski trails to expose David to some 45+ degree slopes. All slopes were frozen and packed, with ice on many areas beside the trails. Also taught David self arrest skills and got some pretty fast moving falls that were great for practice.
On the way down we glissaded 1000+ vertical feet of ski trails using the axes to break. We kept up with the skiers at times! What a blast!
Check with management before attempting. |
