Comments: Wore microspikes the whole hike. Carried snowshoes but didn’t use them. Trail is pretty lumpy so snowshoes would have been ankle twisting because the snow/ice is very supportive. 5.3 mile hike…. Great views. Snow squalls coming from the west was neat to see. Beat the squalls to the vehicle. Started snowing when I left.
