Comments
Comments: Great day for the woods before it gets ugly up there, big difference from when I went to West peak 2 weeks ago, a lot less snow on the trees but still awesome. The trail starts great good enough for bare boots then switched to snowshoes for the televators, it’s like cheating and I love it. Conditions got worse close to the top, lots of holes from someone going up in warm weather in last couple weeks. On the way to East peak stuck with snowshoes the whole way but micros would work. Some drifting between peaks then snow covered ice on the scramble up East. Switched to micros from West peak back to the car. Great day overall, also met a kindred spirit shout out to Pat.
