Winter returns to Maine. I thought this would be an easy hike and it was relatively, but once on the summit, high winds, limited visibility, and moderate drifting snow(12-24") with deeper drifts made it interesting. The sun finally came out, but the wind picked up to more than gale force. The trip over to the Horn required full protection for face. |
