Success Pond Road Berlin side: it's usually rough spots..after the split, there's a shallow washout that Tacoma handled easy..a short distance later, a much deeper one, not attempted..10-15 walk to trailhead, a spot to park near the washout..the trailhead itself has a massive washout! Unknown conditions from the RT. 26 side.. |

Lots of water run off damage near the trail and in some cases on the trail, but erosion not too serious. Eight areas needed blow down removal by saw and/or dragging off trail.. |

This was a trail maintenance trip, and to get the word out with road conditions on Success Pond Road..only made it to the sharp turn when the time limit was up..trail passable to that spot! |
