Comments
Comments: Well we went out for James’ 67 finish!!! What a day we could have picked right?!? Surprised to see so many cars at the end of cvr but cool they made it! The one wash out is pretty rough with like a 4’ drop into the drainage pipe. It was like new england fashion is the straight up the mountain kinda day. Once we made some Views it was nice but brushy. Back in the woods we found water which was shocking and some mud of course. Made it to the ridge and headed to spaulding. Lots of backpackers out which was nice to see. Saw a few nobos too! Right after the rock with the ccc. More brushy area. We dumped packs and went up to spaulding where moose poop Was found! Came back down and made our way over to sugarloaf where we hoped for a breeze. The boxed spring was still doing well. Summit was pretty airless sadly and the flies hit us a little. We followed the road down a little but it was rough in lots of spots. Got to Bullwinkle and follows a trail to what we saw was a road again… should have hung right but oh well, messy new ski trails we followed the way down, came to a road and went back to the cars. A good day out and hott one for sure.
