Comments
Comments: We took the Eyebrow up. It was such a fun trail with the cables and ladders, as well as the great view points along the way. The trail was in great shape and made for a nice start to our hike. It joins up with the AT after about a mile and we stayed right to continue to the summit. This portion of the AT was in great shape as well. There were a few areas with water/mud, but it was easily avoidable without getting wet feet or stepping off the trail. There were a few other folks at the summit when we arrived, but the dark clouds were starting to roll in so everyone was making the stop quick. We headed back down, taking the AT the whole way. There are some water crossings on the lower portion of the AT, but nothing crazy. It was nice to be able to dip our hats in the water, as the day had been pretty humid. Made it back to the trailhead head before the rain and thunder really got going.
