Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: Went down old boundary rd 2.5 miles of the 3.2 to trailhead. Had to navigate some muddy ruts and a big step up onto a logging bridge as well as a tight squeeze through some alder trees. We went as far as we dared and found a small parking spot. Walked the last half mile to trailhead. High clearance vehicle recommended.

Comments
Comments: You can read the directions to trailhead in the maine mountain guide. This is a beautiful hike through mostly hard wood forest. It's a mix between old skidder roads and trails. Pay attention to the orange and pink ribbon tape to follow the trail.Trail starts to close in a bit near the top. There's a canister attached to the firetower on the summit. There's no view unless you climb the ladder. If your looking for an obscure hike this is it. We were the 6th party to sign the register this year.
