| Parking/Access Road Notes: |
Plenty of parking at Lake George Regional Park East (make sure not to go in the west entrance). Only a few other cars, most at the boat launch. |

| Surface Conditions: |
Dry Trail, Mud - Minor/Avoidable |
|
| Recommended Equipment: |
|
|
| Water Crossing Notes: |
I don't believe there were any. |
|
| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
I believe the trail is marked in red. Many other trails intersect but separate from the guidebook's directions, I think it was always clear which way to go. I don't recall there being any blowdowns. |
|
| Dog-Related Notes: |
I don't recall if there were any restrictions (probably just be sure they're leashed) but good trails for dogs. |
|
| Bugs: |
I don't believe there were any. |

| Comments: |
A little hike along the way as I drove to Sangerville to spend the night and redline a little in the 100MW the next day. The trail is flat and goes up and down slightly for a bit, then becomes a bit more moderate as it nears the summit area. Unfortunately, there was a no trespassing sign right in the middle of the trail about a 1/4mi from the summit. I questioned it since there was nothing about it being closed at the bottom, there were signs lower down warning you that you'd be on private property and not to lose that right, etc. but it seemed to be abundantly obviously placed there and facing you/the trail (as opposed to the woods meaning just don't go off trail) so I turned around. The trails were mostly dry with minimal mud I think. Gaia had me at 2.3mi, about 250ft of gain, 37min. |
