Rum-Cranberry Loop (Blue Ridge)
This is an awesome hike through some beautiful forest that also goes by a couple of ponds. We didn't encounter any people and only saw moose tracks on the trail. Trail is blazes with yellow diamonds the whole way. We walked down the road from the parking area and crossed a bridge and took the second yellow marked trail on the left. Directly across from it on the right is another yellow blazed trail which is your return route, unless you hike the reverse direction. It's a loop. Trail mostly very well marked but you do have to pay attention in a few spots to stay on trail, especially with leaves on the trail. |
