Rapid river rd is just barely still drivable with awd and decent clearance. Driving it is definitely the most intense part of the whole hike lol. |

Trail is in good shape, decent packed path up to treeline then some windswept areas. Two of us went up in microspikes and switched to snowshoes above treeline and kept them on the rest of the hike. It’s a bit difficult to follow the trail above treeline, some areas of dense spruce to navigate through, but all in all not too bad. The drive in is white knuckle lol, the rest of the trail is in pretty good shape all in all. |
