Get Baldfaces while they're good. You'll only need snowshoes to the foot of East Peak's ledges. Bare bootable the rest of the way and back. Heck. Leave them there. There's crazy little ice to be seen. And it's in walkable puddles along the summit. Barring a serious storm or thaw/freeze event, the gettings about as good it gets this late in the season. |
