Comments: Snowshoes are absolutely necessary right now. Trail was packed but I wouldn’t say solidly. The tail was soft on ascent though as I got higher it got firmer because of the cold. Lower down on my return it was mashed potatoes and I sunk pretty deep at times even with snowshoes.
