Bought uphill pass for $25! Bluebird skies! Followed the Uphill Access trail to the upper lift. Last year ski patrol wouldn't allow me to go up! No problem this year. Lifted my televators and headed up the spur trail. Goggles on @ "treeline" then continued. Headed for the summit in very strong winds! Looking towards the summit I questioned continuing? I was in no rush, headed going slowly. Amazed I did not get blown over at all. Unfortunately, my goggles started fogging up! At the summit, could barely see at all. Was not able to get and pix or see my GPS so started back. About halfway back to the spur, I pushed my goggles up and could see! Extremely beautiful!!! Found the entrance to the spur trail with no trouble and headed down the uphill trail. Where it crossed a ski trail, I lost it somehow so finished going down on the side of ski trails. Bought a hot chocolate in the base for a bit over $4...life is good :) |
