Finished up trails on Deer Hills, a nice wind down/goodbye after 5 days hiking in this favorite little corner of Maine.
Deer Hill Spring apparently doesn't freeze - I could see the bubbles bubbling! There is a recently logged area going up Deer Hill (and again on the eastern end of Deer Hill Bypass) that provides some nice views and looks like fun skiing. They left a lot of tall trees which is nice.
Snow was starting to get sticky on this warm and sunny day, but I was finished before it got too bad. |
