First half of trail is almost impassable due to poor ground from logging activities. If you can make it past that bad stretch, you start gaining some elevation and the trail becomes much drier. Great hiking the rest of the way up to the summit with tall pine trees. Limited view at summit of the entire Pleasant Mountain area. |
