Comments
Comments: Did a loop clockwise on this beautiful warm day in shorts and short sleeve, trail starts nice dry with some wet spots, around 2000’ the snow appears and doesn’t leave but takes over. Really don’t need snowshoes but some spots are deep,4-6’ but firm for now. Still makes for tough travel and very wet feet. Even on the ledges there’s snow but plenty of rock for traction. After turning at speckled it’s the same but with more ledges it’s a better slog and your elevation drops quicker so less snow. Once you break out at blueberry things are easy. Until you go down to bickford stream and it’s an ice luge, micros going up or down makes it safe.
