Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: We parked at mid-sized dirt lot on Fox Farm Hill Rd. The lot has room for maybe a half dozen or so cars parked regularly, but then there's room for a few more parallel parked near the entrance which is what we did. Seems like it's popular enough that it could overflow. Parking for Tom's Way is just a dirt pullout with room for just a couple of cars. None were there when we past by it.
Surface Conditions
Surface Conditions: Dry Trail, Wet Trail, Mud - Minor/Avoidable, Mud - Significant
Recommended Equipment
Recommended Equipment:
Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: None
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: I don't recall any blowdowns. The trails are well signed and easy to follow, with a map, in addition to a trail sign at most, if not all, junctions. Bauneg Beg Trail is blazed in white, Ginny's Way in orange, Linny's Way in red, Tom's Way in orange, and North Peak Loop in blue and I think the blazing was frequent.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Dogs are allowed but I think are supposed to be on a leash.
Bugs
Bugs: Some buzzing around but I didn't find them to be biting too much.
Lost and Found
Lost and Found: None

Comments
Comments: A Memorial Day hike and mom's birthday; yippee!!! We ascended Bauneg Beg Trail and North Peak Loop to the main summit so as to ascend Devil's Den which is steeper, rather than descend it, then mom and I did a partial OAB on Tom's Way while dad rested on the summit, then we all descended Ginny's Way and Bauneg Beg Trail. The trail was mostly very dry with a couple of very icky and wet spots on Bauneg Beg Trail and Ginny's Trail I believe. We saw a number of others out. Gaia had us at 2.5mi, 425ft of gain, going down all but the last 0.2mi of Tom's Way. Also, note that the sign's say that Tom's Way is 0.9mi when it's only 0.6-0.7mi.
