Comments
Comments: From parking lot is multiple signs guiding the hiker to the south peak trail so pay attention. Park ranger recommended I go up south peak trail and I’m glad I did… it is really steep and loose in places. Nice view along the way to south peak. Just past south peak is a tenting platform looking west…. Could see Katahdin from there. Gentle ridge walk to north peak…. Passing a shelter looking east, nice view of Mars Hill. Fantastic views from North peak. A lot easier going down North peak trail. Very enjoyable hike with maybe a handful of people around on a beautiful Saturday.
