Comments
Comments: This was a hidden gem for sure. Very dusty logging road in… rough section to trailhead but all worth it once on the trail. The trail is in excellent shape… gradual climb with some minor rock scrambling to the summit. 360 views at summit. Baxter state park front and center…. Excellent view of Mt Chase I climbed earlier in the day. Saw no one and had summit to myself for close to an hour. Enjoyable walk back to my vehicle once off the trailhead. Beautiful weather. Saw a huge black bear on the drive out… it ran down the road around a corner and vanished… they are quick lol.
