Comments
Comments: 16.5 mile loop starting Southbound on the AT. Steep at times heading up to the Sugarloaf turn, but excellent conditions overall. Some blowdown on the way to Spaulding. Out and back from the AT to Abraham. Some maps have a trail leading down from the AT ridge near the Spaulding leanto back down to Caribou Pond Rd. Be aware that this trail is extremely grown in and should be treated as a true bushwhack, it is nothing like the unmaintained trails leading up some summits like Redington. Do not attempt without a gps.
