Comments: Also FYI there are active loggins sites going on a short distance before Goose Eye/Carlo Col Trailhead, and on the road to Notch Trail..Notch Trail road is in great shape and both bridges are also, due to active logging right next to the Notch Trail..one of the largest wood yards I have seen lately!! Also near Speck Pond Trail there is active logging...one vehicle at SPT, a few at GE/C, and one at Success Trailhead..weather was ok for views...
