Two cars in the lot when I pulled in at 1230. One guy had gone to the summit and a woman had turned around to the ledges just below the upper eyebrow junction. Snowshoes from the start to the end. The trail is still not packed enough to just use spikes. You may be able to get away with them on the lower spots, but up high there are drifts and more snow depth. Some ice under snow made for a little slipping on descent, but overall it was not bad. Great sunset, I had to use my lamp the last mile or so. Great afternoon to be oot and aboot! |
