Some blowdowns. No problem getting through. |

Lots of ice. Wore microspikes until just after Baldpate west peak, then switched to crampons and kept them on while summiting east peak and descending both peaks. Carried snowshoes but the only deep snow was for very short stretches in sheltered spots near the summits. An ice axe could have been helpful very briefly on the descent of east peak. |
