 | Parking/Access Road Notes: |
Area near the gate isn’t plowed out. Due to the recent warm weather the bank was low and soft enough I was able to drive in ok with an outback and studded snow tires. I turned around and flattened it out a bit. |

 | Comments: |
We wore snowshoes right from the parking area. There was already a clear trail but it was soft from the warm weather. At least 4 sets of snowshoes went through today. Lots of moose tracks. Very icy once you get into the alpine zone. We followed the snow for a while but due to my dog and no crampons we didn’t attempt the true summit. Pics on Maine Hiking. |
