 | Parking/Access Road Notes: |
There is a snow plow turn around where the road ends and meets the snowmobile trail approximately.5 miles from the trail head. I parked there and it was a nice snowshoe in. The trail up the mountain was well establish with about 4” of snow that's now nicely packed down. |

 | Surface Conditions: |
Snow - Trace/Minimal Depth, Ice - Breakable Crust, Snow - Drifts |
|
 | Recommended Equipment: |
Snowshoes, Traction, Ice Axe |
|
 | Water Crossing Notes: |
There were a couple water crossings, but could easily get around them. |
|
 | Trail Maintenance Notes: |
There's a couple small trees down. There's an established path that goes around them. Once you are on the summit its hard to tell where the trail is due to markers being covered by snow. |
|
 | Dog-Related Notes: |
The summit is not recommended for dogs. It's very nicely on the top. The rest of the hike is easy going and great for dogs! |

 | Comments: |
The top you will need crampons, trekking poles and an ice axe if you have one. The rock outcrops up top are all ice with snow on top. It was hard to navigate where the trail was. The wind was howling up top today. The ice, wind, and rocks made it a pretty treterous climb to the top. The summit is not for novice hikers.
Happy hiking everyone! |
