Comments
Comments: From 26 to the top (2nd) turn off for Table Rock the trail had been packed except for a few inches of powder. From that intersection to the summit the previous packing quickly diminished and was deep powder and had to be broken out. Fortunately met a couple of Valentine loves out hiking who shared trail breaking duties. The lady who helped break was a former AT hiker going by the name of "Banana" and the guy was a famous ski patroller who goes by "P2". They swapped leads and broke out the trail with us for a successful summit. P2 even widened the trail on the way down. It is definitely ready for vacation week travel now. Jumped over to Table Rock on the way down (which was already packed by the masses) and watched Banana and P2 exchange painted rocks as a token of their love - romance is alive folks.
