The upper trailhead (North end) had been plowed at some point. There were about eight inches that had been driven over and through. I took a shovel and smoothed out a space for my car and made it out again with a little reversing. |

In some places, the trail had only been broken out by a single snowshoer before myself (two now). There was fresh snow on top of this broken out trail. The snowmobile track was entirely packed and firm. |
