Tower road was still in mud season shape, no good for my lower clearance car, but I wanted to walk it anyway. |

Tower Road was still in mud-season shape. I parked my car at the junction of Tower Road & Route 191 & walked up the 0.4mi to the top. Lots of communications masts on the summit. The only remnants of the former fire tower were a couple of concrete anchor blocks at the foot of a newer mast, one block set with a brass survey benchmark. Summit is all trees. Narrow viewpoint east from the road. |
